About us
The Olive Bough was formed by a group of Christians from various churches, in and around Monmouth, to further spread the Word of God and help bring the community closer together.
Run entirely by volunteers, our bookstall is situated within the popular market area, close to the Monnow Bridge, at the lower end of the town centre. It would be great to see you .
When to find us
We open every Saturday from 9.00am until 3.00pm except for the month of January -
If there’s a book, CD or particular gift you wanted, just ask at the stall and we’ll help in any way we can.

The Vision
We believe there is a deep hunger for spiritual things amongst the people in Monmouth.
Our vision is to open a shop representing the Church on the High Street that’s accessible to everybody and possibly less intimidating than some of our existing church buildings.
A place where people can encounter God and find the peace He offers. This might be through conversation, literature or through a group that meets there.
